Ya se sabía que el material en el que trabajaban los Arctic Monkeys sería ajeno a lo que estamos acostumbrados a oír de ellos, más aún si el que los guiaba por este nuevo camino en sus carreras es Josh Homme, vocalista de QOTSA, que influyó evidentemente en los arreglos del disco. Esperar algo totalmente psicodélico no era para extrañarse, era la lógica. Los de Sheffield por el momento dejaron de lado las frenéticas guitarras adolescentes y lograron configurar un sonido más sólido que es, por cierto, más difícil de digerir que sus predecesores y más cercano al trabajo que Alex Turner, vocalista, ha hecho paralelamente junto a The Last Shadow Puppets.Download
